DRAFT MINUTES OF THE WOODHALL SPA ANNUAL PARISH MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY 19 MAY 2022 AT 6.30 PM CORONATION HALL

IN ATTENDANCE

Parish Councillors Needham, Ford, Brown, Moscrop, Bollard and Shaw, grant recipients and 50 members of the public.

WELCOME & INTRODUCTION

The Chairman, Councillor John Needham, welcomed everyone to the meeting. People had the opportunity to talk with local community groups who had received a community grant from Woodhall Spa Parish Council over the last 5 years.

TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING HELD ON 4TH MAY 2021

The minutes were accepted as a true record of the meeting by Councillors and members of the public who were present.

TO RECEIVE THE CHAIRMAN’S REPORT ON PARISH COUNCIL ACTIVITIES FOR THE LAST YEAR

TO RECEIVE A FINANCIAL REPORT FROM THE PARISH COUNCIL FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31ST MARCH 2022

The Parish Clerk, Joann Greer, presented the finance report stating the Council precept of £72084.83 had been prudently managed. 

Total expenditure for the year was £112650.00, with a total income received £129600.00.

The 2021-22 Annual Audit paperwork was with the internal auditor.

THIS YEAR THE FOCUS IS ON LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS THAT HAVE BENIFITTED FROM WSPC’S ANNUAL COMMUNITY GRANT SCHEME. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS FROM THE LAST 5 YEARS WILL SHOWCASE HOW THEY HAVE SPENT THEIR GRANT AND EXPLAIN HOW THE FUNDS HAVE HELPED THEIR CLUBS
